Our lady of Merces church

The church is located in Merces village. It was originally a chapel in 1600 under Santa Cruz Church. It was established by the Dominicans and was elevated in 1613 after separating from Santa Cruz parish.

St. Jerome church

The church was constructed in 1594 by a Franciscan and is dedicated to St. Jerome. The church is built in a baroque style of architecture.

Santo Cristo Church

The Church of St Christ was constructed in the Neo-Roman Style of Architecture, The facade has three stories and two octagonal bell towers with balusters. It has a porch with a tiled roof, The feast of St Christ Church was celebrated every year on the 2nd Sunday of May.

Shree Saptakoteshwara Temple, Maem

Saptakoteshwar having been the deity of the Kings of the Kadamba dynasty around the twelfth century. The main five pillared hall is decorated with arches and is intricately painted with chandeliers glorifying the beauty of the ceiling while the sanctorum wall is made of plain wood.

St. Stephens' Church

The Stephen's Church is also known as St. Estevam Church, which is perched on top of the hillock. The Jesuits first built the church in 1575

Our lady of help church

The Our Lady of Help Church in Ribandar, Goa, built by Portuguese sailors in 1565 to thank Our Lady for saving them from a storm, features a design inspired by the ship they sailed on, underwent renovations in 1711, and houses significant artworks and four altars.
